Thomas Helsgaun is new GreenLab CEO

Thomas Helsgaun is the New CEO of GreenLab

Thomas Helsgaun, currently the COO at GreenLab, has been appointed as the new CEO of GreenLab in Skive. GreenLab has seen significant growth in recent years, with several new companies joining as site partners in Skive. To fully realize the potential of the green industrial park, Thomas Helsgaun is stepping into the role of CEO, and the current CEO, Christopher Sorensen, will step down.

GreenLab has come far since the beginning in 2019, and as the green industrial park begins a new chapter, a new CEO has been appointed. "We are now entering a new phase, where the CEO's role will largely focus on making GreenLab even more attractive to businesses and ensuring economic sustainability. Therefore, the board is pleased that Thomas Helsgaun has agreed to take the helm. With his extensive industrial background, he is the perfect fit to lead GreenLab's continued development," says Gert Vinther Jørgensen, Chairman of the Board at GreenLab.

Thomas Helsgaun knows GreenLab very well, having served as COO since 2022. Additionally, he brings extensive leadership experience from his previous roles at Maersk and the Danish Armed Forces.

"We are experiencing great interest in what we have initiated with GreenLab, and I look forward to delivering on our vision and promises, creating societal value, and attracting even more companies to become part of our green industrial park, benefiting both the green transition and the creation of more local jobs," says Thomas Helsgaun.

The appointment of Thomas Helsgaun also means that the current CEO, Christopher Sorensen, will step down. "Christopher is a true driving force, and I want to thank him for his tremendous efforts at GreenLab. He has been indispensable in establishing GreenLab and deserves much of the credit for how far we have come today," says Gert Vinther Jørgensen.
