New Research Call 2024

GreenLab is happy to launch a new research call with four new funding opportunities. The research call is made possible by VILLUM FONDEN’s donation of DKK 25 mio. that enables the continued collaboration between GreenLab and the technical universities of Denmark, led by DTU.

Overall theme: The Power-Carbon-Water Nexus (PCWtX)
PtX is crucial in the energy transition, but green power alone isn't enough for a fossil-free future. Industries still need renewable, biogenic carbon to replace fossil fuels. Sustainable agriculture and smart carbon use from industry are key to this shift. PtX-H2 value chains also highlight the need for careful water and resource management. This research call focuses on the Power-Carbon-Water Nexus to address these challenges.

Four mission-driven challenges available for funding
We have defined four mission-driven research challenges under the main theme:

  • Challenge A: Power-Carbon-Water-to-X Trade-Off Assessment
  • Challenge B: Multi-stakeholder Collaborative Models for Eco-Industrial Clusters
  • Challenge C: Rethinking Grid Capacity in Industrial Clusters
  • Challenge X: Open Challenge for Industrial Sustainability
